چکیده

The aim of PANDORA Project is the design, implementation and evaluation of platform for the experimentation with mobile robots based on the use of behaviour component learning and it fusion by means of intelligent techniques, and the use of active vision techniques in the objective determination for the plan development. This platform will allow the remote experimentation and collaboration by means of a management and teleoperation framework accessible by the Web, hence its different components could be used and cooperate with external agents. In order to achieve this goal the research and development work proposed consider a three level architecture based on a multiagent organization where the intelligent techniques are applied to the learning and optimization of basic behaviours of the reactive level, to the fusion of basic behaviours by means of fuzzy logic, and the task development by means of the vision input.. One of the strong point of the project, is the use of evolutionary computation as a central mechanism in the optimization activities specially in multi-criteria optimization. PANDORA is also the applicability to the autonomous mobile robot field, of the platform GEMINIS, result of a previous research project of the University of Murcia, and the results in the active vision of the group from the University of Alicante. This project has a great applicability as the open architecture proposed has flexibility and adaptability characteristics and hence it can be applied to different regional fields, and a source of collaboration with different national and international groups.

Cooperative Control of Mobile Robots in Creating a Runway Platform for Quadrotor Landing

Multi-agent systems are systems in which several agents accomplish a mission in a cooperative manner. In this paper, a novel idea for the construction of a movable runway platform based on multi-agent systems is presented. It is assumed that an aerial agent (quadrotor) decides to make an emergency landing due to reasons such as a decrease in energy level or technical failure, while there is no ...

Virtual Reality Visualization of Distributed Tele-Experiments

The increased costs of laboratory environments such as mobile robots and the specialization of research groups increase the demand for collaboration between different research groups. Although the Internet can be regarded as the most important medium for cooperation over large distances, it does not provide the necessary bandwidth for the transmission of video-streams required for example durin...
